About the Author
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Teresa Reasor was born in Southeastern Kentucky, but grew up a Marine Corps brat. The love of reading instilled in her in Kindergarten at Parris Island, South Carolina made books her friends during the many transfers her father's military career entailed. The transition from reading to writing came easily to her and she penned her first book in second grade. But it wasn't until 2007 that her first published work was released.
After twenty-one years as an Art Teacher and ten years as a part time College Instructor, she's now retired and living her dream as a full time Writer.

OMG! Finally!

YAY! Finally... It seems like it's been forever waiting for Flash's story and it was well worth the wait. This has action, the damsel in distress, action, romance, action, and some more romance. Awesome read!!

Not so sure about this one

This is book 3 of the SEAL TEAM Heartbreakers series and I would strongly recommend that you read book 1 and 2 before you read this one. Especially since the plot in all three books is interrelated.
I was very eagerly waiting for this book to be published but I’m not so sure this one was a worthy successor to the previous two books. I know that my opinion differs from all the reviews that are already posted but maybe there’s somebody out there who wants to read my thoughts.
Firstly, let me tell you that this book was in no way a bad book. And believe me – I’m already and again waiting eagerly to read the next book in the series.
Obviously it takes of lot of time and inspiration to write a book. However, I believe when writing a series, timing is of the essence. In any case, I felt that far too much time elapsed between book 2 and 3. As a result, I had a bit of difficulty to “re-submerse” myself into the general atmosphere of the series.
The plot of this story developed much slower than in the previous installments, which gave the author plenty of opportunity to develop the hero/ine thoroughly. Consequently, the focus of the book was mainly on character development and less on action. No problem with that –as long as there is a certain pace when unraveling the plot. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case and more than once I had the impression that the detailed descriptions were “space fillers”. They didn’t offer anything but hampered the development of the plot. Hence, towards the end of the book the dramatic highlights of the storyline were rushed – especially the ending, which remained unrewarding for me.
James and Marsha’s story and how they tried to overcome their difficulties was heartbreaking. At certain moments I even thought that this sub-plot overshadows the main plot. Why use such an excellent storyline as bonus material? Why having the main characters/plot compete the sub-characters/plot? Maybe each couple deserved its own book?
In any case, although above thoughts did somehow reduce my reading pleasure, I wouldn’t have liked to miss reading the book. If you’ve read book 1 and 2 you definitely have to read this one as well.

Flash gets it right in all ways

Loved this one from page one.
Lt. Harold "Flash" Carney is in a world of trouble.
He thinks he's been set up by an FBI agent. The FBI that tried to kill him when he made a drop for them. The two men he shot, after they shot at and wounded him, were carrying FBI credentials so Flash assumes that they were FBI.
Flash thought the drop was part of an undercover op they had enlisted his help for when he and his SEAL team were deployed in Iraq. An undercover op he hasn't told anyone about. Not even his closest brothers the men on his team. He's in a world of trouble and pretty much on his own. Who says fighting jihadists, terrorists and being deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan is the most dangerous thing he would ever do??
Hell the Navy, his Commander, his Captain and NCIS probably think he's deserted. No telling what the FBI will be telling them.
Flash is AWOL but he knows his teammates will never believe he deserted. He's sorry he didn't at least let Yaz know what he's doing. Hind sight is always 20/20. To late now. He'll just have to make the best of things and try to get his ass out of the sling its in.
Samantha Cross is trying to get herself and her daughter away from her abusive husband. A husband who almost beat her to death. A husband that caused her to miscarry a child. He's a man who has no problem using her as a punching bag.
Sam Cross and daughter Joy finally get him arrested. She divorces him and is now living in the house her grandmother left her. She's got a job and is trying to get on with her life.
Unfortunately for her, her ex is out of jail and hot on her trail. He wants her and Joy back and will do almost anything to make it happen.
Sam rents an apartment on the property to Tim Carnes. He works for a security company. He's one great looking guy. A guy who's as different from her ex as night is to day.
So begins one great read.
This one has murder, attempted murder, drug cartels, artifacts from Iraq, a Captain and his wife getting their lives back on track, enemies, friends and two people working on life and love.
Just a great read and it fits in well with the other two books in the series. Waiting for number four.
Five stars and then some. Just awesome.
